Instead of sending as 2 or more packaging and being charged additional costs from the carrier service, nesting will assume the shipper opens the larger box and places the smaller (linked) item or products into the larger the package, therefore resulting in a lower shipping cost for customers.
Shown below are the steps on how to enable Nesting packaging:
Step 1: From the Inventory Management PACKAGING WIDGET >> Click on Add Inventory Button >> Type the inventory item description.
LOGIC MANAGEMENT
Step 2: Click drop down arrow in Packaging logic management. Choose Nesting item >> then Click Add item >> Enter the item dimension >> Then click savecheck enable.
After Saving the packaging logic, the SKU number of the item will be available and can be used in getting a quote in Quote and Book.
