Overview

• Shipping Rules gives the user the ability to create rules relevant to the user profile which apply to “Pending Shipments” and "Orders". This module allows the user to keep all the shipping rules in just one location.

• The rules are in place to speed up warehouse processes and reduce click through.  E.g. Items with Min weight 0 kg- max weight 5 kg will delivered express. All orders valued over $1000 send Express.  Po Box delivery sent though AUS Post only.    

• The shipping rules can also be configured via the BBA Mastro dashboard and the rules apply when processing orders through the API via 3rd party integration (e.g. Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify) and rules also apply when processing  orders through quote and book.

To add Shipping rules Click ADD NEW button.

To Edit shipping rules Click VIEW button. 

To Delete shipping rules Click DELETE button.

Shipping Rule Attributes

• Rule Name – Sets a unique string identifier to the shipping rule.

• Set Rule Priority – Determines the order of rules to be evaluated. Rules can have the same priority level. In this case these will be executed at the same time.

• Carrier Profile - Output Carrier: BBA  Mastro offers many carrier options for shipping orders. Every carrier also provides various services depending on, for example, the weight or destination address of the goods.

• Service Profile - Output Service Type

Shipping Rule Conditions

• Min Item Price Range – Executes all set actions and modifiers if item price is more than this amount

• Max Item Price Range - Executes all set actions and modifiers if item price is less than this amount

• Min Package Weight -  Executes all set actions and modifiers if item weight is above this value

• Max Package Weight -  Executes all set actions and modifiers if item weight is below this value

• “All of World” Option – Executes actions and modifiers if the country and postcode provided is within the the BBA Mastro System

• Country - Executes actions and modifiers if the country provided is within the list of postcode ranges

• Minimum Range (Postcode) - Executes actions and modifiers if the postcode provided is higher than this value within the list of postcode ranges for the specific country

• Maximum Range (Postcode) - Executes actions and modifiers if the postcode provided is lower than this value within the list of postcode ranges for the specific country

Clicking on the Configuration link redirects you to different Configuration widgets.

Clicking on the Shipping Rules widget redirects you to the Shipping Rules list page

Shipping Rules give the user the ability to create rules relevant to the user profile.

View / Edit

To view or edit an existing Shipping Rule, the user can click on the View button.

The user can edit any detail on the Shipping Rule.

To save the changes, click on the Update button.

Delete

To delete an existing shipping rule, the user can click on the Delete button for that specific Shipping Rule

Create New Rule

To create a new shipping rule, the user can click on the Add Rule button

In creating a new Shipping Rule, there should be Rules Attribute, Rules Actions and Rule Conditions.

Rules Attribute

This includes Shipping rule name, Priority and the Source Channel.

Rules Actions

This includes Display Rule Name (In Cart), Display Price Override (In Cart), Markup Percentage Value, Markup Fixed Value, Output Carrier  and Output Service Type .

Rules Conditions

This includes Min and Max Price Range, Min and Max Weight Range, Min and Max Length Range, Min and Max Width Range, and Min and Max Height Range. This also includes Postcode Ranges.

It also includes special conditions for Po Box Condition, Dangerous Goods Condition, Click & Collect Condition, Gift Wrapping Parameters and Unattended Delivery.

The user can click on the Save button to finally create the Shipping Rule.
